Jago Solo Biography


With an unlikely background in music, judo and adventure sports, Jago has intensively studied juggling arts since 1991. As a creative performer, Jago specialises in music-choreographed, dance-based juggling and has developed a reputation as one of the UK’s leading contact jugglers. Having worked previously with ‘The Fairly Famous Family’ and ‘Astral Circus’, Jago currently appears with fire troupe FlameOz and performed in the theatre show Tossers in Leicester Square and the E4 Udderbelly, Edinburgh (2 x five star, 4 x four star reviews). As founder and director of Fullmoon Performers, Jago directed and appeared in the dvd ‘In Isolation: A Compilation of Modern Contact Juggling’ (A Beard Production) now on sale worldwide.

Jago has performed at events such as The Commonwealth Games, Edinburgh & Glastonbury Festivals, and The British Juggling Convention; in venues including The Saatchi Gallery, O2 Arena and The Gherkin; as far away as Bahrain, Italy, Greece, Spain, France, Romania, Norway, Dubai, Slovenia, Austria and and Hungary and in front of VIP’s including Elle Macpherson, Hugh Grant and the U.A.E. Royal Family.

He continues to collaborate with other artists and create new acts, most recently ‘Calvos’, ‘The Jesters’ and ‘Halo’
